Photography is not just a business, it's one of my greatest passions. My interest first started back in the era of film, albeit towards the end that era, when I used a film point and shoot camera for just everyday photos. It was the advent of digital cameras that really hooked me though, and here I am some 15 years later still loving every moment in this photographic world!
My experience over those 15 years has been broad, motorsport photography has been, and still is, a great area of interest, but more than ever I have become interested in people photography. I have extensive experience in fashion photography, general portraiture, dance (particularly ballet) and have also been published.
Then I discovered wedding photography when a friend & colleague asked me to photograph their wedding. I must admit I wavered on this decision, the sheer pressure of photographing someones wedding, the pressure of capturing multiple timeless memories of their big day, well, I'll be honest, it scared me a bit!
But now I look back and realise it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Being part of a couples big day, being there to capture those timeless memories that will be treasured forever is one of the greatest experiences I have had as a photographer, it is fulfilling and also a massive privilege to be part of.
